• Srinagar: Srinagar, arguably a city that embodies romance and beauty is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir that is set in India. These were built before the current conflict when domestic travel to Kashmir was booming. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits. The city lies on both banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus River. This city as well as its hinterland is bounded by natural wall of mountains. It is located in the valley of Kashmir at an height of 1,730 m above sea level. There are four generations of rulers that ruled the state with Jammu as its capital, with Maharaja Pratap Singh having built the palace in the year 1910.

The temple was built during the period 1835-1860 by Maharaja Gulab Singh and his son Maharaja Ranbir Singh. Mubarak Mandi is a palace in Jammu, India. The palace was the royal residence of the maharadja of Jammu and Kashmir from the Dogra Dynasty. The palace is located in the heart of the old walled city of Jammu and overlooks the Tawi River.
